Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms of Use") carefully — they set out the basis on which you are allowed to use Flava. By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Flava app.

Membership

To become a member you must be aged 18 years old or over and by login you confirm that you are aged 18 years old or over. You may terminate your membership at any time by sending an email to support@flava.app or clicking "Delete account" in settings on the mobile app.

Important: if you are a fee-paying subscriber, you must also cancel your subscription through your platform account to fully stop billing — on iOS via your Apple ID / App Store subscriptions, and on Android via Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

When you delete your account, your profile, photos, matches, and chats are removed immediately. We retain your email and minimal technical data for up to 6 months for fraud prevention and legal compliance. To request immediate and complete deletion of all data, email support@flava.app.

Access to Flava

Access to Flava and any Content is permitted subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use and our Community Rules. You may only access Flava for individual, personal and non-commercial use. We may at any time restrict, suspend, or terminate your membership with immediate effect if we believe you may be in breach of these Terms.

Availability of Flava

Flava is available on a temporary basis. We update Flava regularly and may change the Content at any time. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend Flava without notice. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it clear exactly what you're paying for.

Your Content / User Content

Flava enables you to upload your own content or take part in conversations. You take full responsibility for any of Your Content that you or we publish. You own the intellectual property rights in Your Content; however, you give Flava a limited licence to publish it so that Flava may provide the services effectively.

Community Rules

As a member you agree to: provide accurate information and keep it updated; sign up legitimately — whether anonymously or with an Apple ID, Google account, or email; not create or use an anonymous account to break these rules, harass others, or evade a ban or content removal; not post content that is offensive, obscene, threatening, abusive, defamatory or otherwise unlawful; and behave respectfully toward others.

You agree not to: act dishonestly; misrepresent your identity or age; create a profile for anyone other than yourself; create a profile for, or feature, anyone under 18; harass, abuse, or threaten other users; post hate speech; solicit money or use the Service for commercial, escort, or prostitution purposes; request or send payments off-platform; send spam; scrape profiles; use bots or automated access; interfere with Flava or connected servers; or act in an unlawful manner.

Safety & Interactions with Other Members

Flava is a venue for meeting people; we do not conduct criminal-background checks or verify the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user. Selfie verification confirms that a profile photo matches a live selfie — it is not an identity, age, or safety guarantee. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. Exercise caution, especially when meeting anyone in person, and never share financial information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flava is not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline, and you assume all risk of contact with other members.

Child Safety — Zero Tolerance for CSAE

Flava has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any sexualisation of minors, or content that exploits or endangers children, is strictly prohibited. Such content will be removed, the account permanently banned, and the matter reported to the relevant authorities and to law enforcement. To report suspected CSAE or CSAM, use the in-app report function or email support@flava.app immediately.

Reporting, Blocking & Moderation

You can report or block any user or content directly in the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We use a combination of automated and human moderation, but we do not pre-screen all content and are not obligated to monitor it.

Intellectual Property

Flava and the Content are protected by patents, copyright, database rights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. You may only view, download, and use Flava for personal, non-commercial use with appropriate acknowledgment.

Your Liability to Us

You shall be responsible for all costs allowable by the Courts that we may be awarded as a result of your breach of these Terms of Use and/or your unauthorised use of Flava and/or the Content.

The Flava app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide service. It's your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flava and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Flava and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, any conduct or content of other users, or unauthorized access to your account. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app store you downloaded Flava from. Apple purchases are refunded by Apple (App Store → Apple ID → Purchase history → Report a Problem, or getsupport.apple.com). Google Play purchases are refunded by Google under Google Play's refund policy (play.google.com/store/account → Order history), subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Flava does not directly process refunds for in-app purchases.

Third-Party Services

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, where Flava is based. We aim to resolve any disagreement amicably first — if you have a concern, please contact us at support@flava.app and we will try to find a fair solution. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

App-Store Terms

Your use of Flava is also subject to the terms of the platform you downloaded it from — the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (iOS) or the Google Play Terms of Service (Android). Where you obtained the app from Apple, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Flava (not Apple), that Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app, and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Flava regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post material changes on this page.

Changes to These Terms

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
