Flava is an adults-only (18+) service. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our child-safety standards, how to report a concern, and how to reach our child-safety contact.
1. Prohibited Conduct
Any sexualisation of minors, grooming, or content that exploits or endangers anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited on Flava. Creating a profile for, or featuring, anyone under 18 is prohibited. Violations result in immediate removal, a permanent ban, and reporting to the relevant authorities and law enforcement (including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, NCMEC, where applicable).
2. How to Report
Anyone can report suspected CSAE or CSAM. In the app, use the Report function available on any profile, chat, or piece of content. By email, contact support@flava.app, which is monitored for safety reports. Reports are reviewed promptly.
3. How We Act on CSAM
On obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM, we remove it, preserve relevant evidence as required by law, permanently ban the account involved, and report to the appropriate authorities. We combine automated detection with human moderation, though we do not pre-screen all content.
4. Age Requirement
Flava is strictly for users aged 18 and older. Date of birth is collected at sign-up, and accounts for anyone under 18 are not permitted. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
5. Child Safety Point of Contact
Questions about our child-safety practices or this policy can be directed to our child-safety contact: Child Safety, Flava – childsafety@flava.app.
For urgent reports of suspected CSAE or CSAM, email childsafety@flava.app or support@flava.app immediately.
